Polinode is a powerful tool for
performing social network analysis
There are so many different sources of data for social network analysis - Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, email log files, Slack and a lot more! Polinode is a web-based tool that provides you with a powerful platform for uploading, visualizing and analyzing social network data from any source. Since it's 100% browser-based there is no need to install any software and it's easy to share your analysis with others, either publicly or privately. Click the button below to get started with Polinode or scroll down to learn more about some of our key features, including how we integrate with other tools to allow you to easily import social network data.
Polinode Integrates with Other Tools
You may have come across some other desktop-based tools for social network analysis such as Gephi and NodeXL. The good news is that Polinode makes it easy to import data from these and other tools. For Gephi, simply export your data in GEXF and that upload that file directly to Polinode. For NodeXL that is an "export to Polinode" button that makes it easy to export data that you have collected from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube directly to Polinode.
Over 20 Different Metrics
Polinode allows you to calculate over 20 different metrics, including Total Degree, In Degree, Out Degree, Community Detection, Eigenvector Centrality, Betweenness and a lot more. To calculate a metric in Polinode you just click the calculator button, select your metric and click on calculate. One of the powerful features of Polinode is that metrics are calculated for the visible network only - so you can filter a network by an attribute like Gender and then calculate a metric for this sub-network. Everything is dynamic and interactive, including the filters and metric calculation!
Share Your NETWORKS Easily
In Polinode networks can be either public or private. If your data is private then you should feel comfortable that it will be secure in Polinode (we do a lot of work on data security!). Sometimes though you may want to share your data with others publicly. With Polinode you can - just share the link to a public network and anyone will be able to access it. So, you can grant permission to individual users to collaborate on private networks with them or you can share public networks with others by simply sharing a link.
There's a lot more to Polinode than the above! The best way to learn more is to join our over 3,000 users and start exploring network data. We have over 1,500 public networks inside Polinode ready for you to discover. To get started, simply click the button below, sign-up for an account and you'll be up in running in less than 30 seconds.
